Who we are

This website is run by Smoke Wizards NI Ltd, a company registered in Northern Ireland (company number NI679191). We trade as Smoke Wizards NI and run the Wizards Warzone airsoft site. We are based in Lurgan, Craigavon, County Armagh. Our registered office address is shown on the Companies House register.

You must be 18 or over

Smoke grenades, flares and other pyrotechnic products are only sold to people aged 18 or over. At checkout you give your date of birth and upload a photo of your driving licence or passport. We use it only to check your age and delete it once your order is complete or cancelled.

We may ask to see photo ID on collection or delivery. If we cannot confirm that you are 18 or over, we will cancel your order and refund you in full. You must not buy products for anyone under 18.

PSNI Form 31/9 and police consent

In Northern Ireland, some products are classed as explosives under the Explosives Act (Northern Ireland) 1970 and cannot be supplied without consent from the PSNI. Products that need consent are marked in the shop.

If your order includes one, you complete Form 31/9 online at checkout and we send it to the PSNI Explosives Office. We will not release those products until consent is granted. How long this takes is up to the PSNI. If consent is refused, or not granted within a reasonable time, we will cancel the affected items and refund you in full.

Placing an order

• When you place an order and pay, we email you an order confirmation. The contract between us starts when we send that email.
• We may cancel an order if a product is out of stock, a price was clearly wrong, we cannot confirm your age, police consent is not granted, or we cannot deliver to your address. If we do, we will refund you in full.
• Prices are in pounds sterling and include any taxes that apply. Delivery charges, if any, are shown before you pay.
• Payment is taken by PayPal. You can pay with a PayPal account or a debit or credit card.
• Discount codes must be entered at checkout. Only one discount code can be used per order, and codes cannot be exchanged for cash.

Collection and delivery

Collection is by arrangement from Lurgan, Craigavon. We will message you to arrange a time. The person collecting must be 18 or over and may be asked for photo ID.

Delivery of pyrotechnic products is limited by carrier and dangerous goods rules, so some products or addresses may not be available for delivery. We will confirm the best option after you order. If we cannot deliver and you do not want to collect, we will refund you in full.

Game day pick up: Wizards Warzone products can be collected at your next game day where that option is shown at checkout.

Your order is your responsibility once it has been delivered or collected.

Changing your mind

When you buy online you normally have 14 days to cancel, starting the day after you receive your goods. Tell us by email or WhatsApp that you want to cancel. You do not need to give a reason.

• Products must be returned unused, with pins, caps and seals intact, within 14 days of telling us. Pyrotechnic products must not be sent through the normal post. Please return them in person in Lurgan, or ask us and we will tell you how to return them safely. You pay any return costs unless the item is faulty or we sent the wrong thing.
• We will refund you within 14 days of getting the products back, including the standard delivery charge you paid, to your original payment method.
• If a product has been used, lit, or had its pin or seal removed, we can reduce your refund to reflect the loss in value, which can be up to the full price, because it cannot be sold again.
• You cannot cancel an order for personalised items made to your instructions once we have started making them.

Faulty products

If a product is faulty, not as described or not fit for purpose, contact us straight away and keep the product and its packaging. You have the right to a full refund within 30 days of receiving it, and after that to a repair, replacement or refund, under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Please do not try to use a product you think is faulty.

Safe use

Smoke products are for outdoor use only. Always read and follow the manufacturer's instructions on the product. Hold at arm's length and point away from people and animals. Never use near dry grass, vegetation, buildings or vehicles. Never hold a product after it is lit unless it is designed to be held. Keep away from children and store somewhere cool and dry. Check that you have permission to use smoke where you plan to use it, and never use it in a way that could cause alarm or be mistaken for a real emergency.

We are not responsible for injury, loss or damage caused by using products in a way that goes against these instructions or the law.

Airsoft gift vouchers

• Gift vouchers can be used towards Wizards Warzone airsoft bookings made on this website. Each voucher has a code and a value, and can be used over more than one booking until the balance runs out.
• Vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date you buy them. The expiry date is shown on the voucher. Any balance left after that date cannot be used.
• Vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash. Treat the code like cash and keep it safe.
• You can cancel a voucher you have bought within 14 days for a full refund, as long as it has not been used.

Airsoft bookings

• When you book, you agree to the player agreement on behalf of everyone in your booking. Players must be 11 or over, and players under 18 need a parent or guardian's consent. Marshals can remove anyone from play for unsafe behaviour, without a refund.
• Airsoft bookings are for a specific date, so the 14 day right to cancel does not apply to them.
• Public game day tickets can be moved to another date if you give us at least 48 hours notice. Message us with your booking reference.
• Deposits for private group bookings and special events are not refundable unless we cancel.
• If we have to cancel a game day, for example because of bad weather, we will tell you as soon as we can and you can choose a full refund or credit to use on another day.
• Rental kit must be returned in the condition it was given. We may charge for deliberate damage.

Event effects hire

Wedding and event effects are booked through a quote. Your quote and booking confirmation set out the price, deposit and cancellation terms for your event. All effects depend on approval from your venue, and we may need to change or pause an effect on the day for safety reasons.

Our responsibility to you

We are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for loss that was not foreseeable, for business losses, or for anything caused by events outside our control, such as severe weather, carrier delays or delays in police consent.

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law, including your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

Problems and the law that applies

If you have a problem, please contact us first and we will do our best to sort it out quickly.

These terms are governed by the law of Northern Ireland, and the courts of Northern Ireland can deal with any dispute. If you live elsewhere in the UK or in the Republic of Ireland you can also bring a claim in your local courts, and you keep any rights you have under the consumer law where you live.
